San Jose, Calif. – Committee on House Administration Chairperson Zoe Lofgren (D-Calif.) issued the following statement on the departure of Chief Administrative Officer Phil Kiko:
“Phil Kiko has a long and accomplished record of House and government service. During his tenure as Chief Administrative Officer, he has brought his considerable experience working in a member office, as a staff director and general counsel for three different House committees, and in various agencies within the executive branch, to improving and modernizing House services.
“Particularly noteworthy has been his steadfast and determined leadership in assisting the House as it transitioned to a maximum telework posture in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. From procuring and deploying work equipment on short notice, to providing training for House employees, adjusting services to better support a remote workforce, modernizing and diversifying House technology offerings, and much more, Phil has been a valuable asset to the House during this challenging period.
“I wish Phil well in his future endeavors and thank him for his many years of service making the House of Representatives work for Members of Congress and the people we serve.”
