WASHINGTON — Today, the House Committee on Small Business Ranking Member Steve Chabot (R-OH) issued the following statement praising the Senate passage of the Paycheck Protection Program Flexibility Act.
“I am pleased that the Senate quickly passed the Paycheck Protection Program Flexibility Act. Across the country, some businesses have started reopening while others remain closed under local or state guidelines or are forced to remain under a certain operating capacity. This bill gives small business owners flexibility to use their loan in a way that suits their particular circumstances.
As Congress continues to work in a bipartisan, bicameral manner to support small businesses, I am heartened that we moved quickly to improve this popular program that has already helped millions of small business owners and their workers.”
